Six Months Old
August 28th was my six-month birthday! Can you believe I am half a year old already? I am enjoying being outdoors in the summer weather, going on walks, and playing in the grass. This month, my major achievements were learning to sit up by myself and starting to eat big people's food! I have had rice cereal, bananas, peaches, applesauce, pears, mashed potatoes, and avocado. Sometimes, my mommy will give me a piece of apple or a carrot to gnaw on. She even let me try Grandma's homemade peach icecream one day! I have yet to meet a food that I don't like!

That is one cute boy you have there! Of course, I'm sure you are aware :-).
ReplyDeleteI am praying for you and thinking of you so very often. I'm asking for peace and strength....
He's getting so BIG! And he's sooooooo cute! We're planning to be in town for TLC--I hope I get to cuddle him a little then.
ReplyDeleteP.S. We found out last week that we're having a little boy. =) We've gotta find a way to move closer so our boys can be buddies! Feel free to start praying that Steve will find a faboo job in the Portland area when he retires next summer!
Can't believe he's getting so big so fast and I'm missing out! I sure wish I could see you guys. You're in our prayers just about every day. Give Alex a big kiss from me!
ReplyDeleteLove you!
Julie
its good to see an update. i know things have been hard lately. Just don't try to do it all alone, lean on each other and allow God to provide the strength you need.
ReplyDeleteAlex,
ReplyDeleteYou look so huggable! Seeing your picture jump out at me on my computer screen is always a heart-wrencher. I can't wait to see you in November. I love you, Nyanya
This hardly seems like the right place to send condolences, but I don't have your address to send a card and I wanted you to know that I'm thinking of and praying for your family. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm so glad you got to spend some special times with her these last few months--I'm sure that was a huge blessing to her.
