The Suspense is Killing Me!

Okay, so I just watched last night's episode of "LOST" on the ABC website. Awesome, awesome episode, by the way. (And if you don't watch "LOST," you will have no idea what I'm talking about, so you can skip to the next paragraph.) Loved seeing the reunion of the Oceanic Six with their families, especially Sayid and Nadia. Loved how Sun told off her father. Loved that Jack finally found out that Claire is his half-sister and Aaron is his nephew. And Hurley's mom got the best line of the night: "Jesus Christ is NOT a weapon." Loved it!

So, after I watched it, I found out that the next episode is the 2-hour season finale. But it's not going to air for another two weeks. In two weeks, I will be out of the country. This means I will have to wait until July to watch the season finale, to find out exactly how the Oceanic Six make it off the island, what happens to everyone else, whether or not Jin, Desmond, and Michael get blown to smithereens, and who is in that dang coffin!!!

I just don't think I can stand it.

  1. It's killing me too Laura!!...Just so you know if there is ANY WAY that we can watch it while in Angola, Robert and I would at least be willing to try! The darn thing airs the night that we fly from Chicago to London...you and Rusty may have a better chance watching it in London! Bummerrrrr....

  2. I don't think you can watch videos on the ABC website unless you are in the United States. We couldn't in Japan, anyway. They may air it in London, but I don't know if we have a TV in our hotel room.

I guess I will just have to live with the suspense for 6 weeks.

  3. I'm sorry - but at least LOST is back on. We are still waiting for Heroes to resume. It is rather sad.
Seriously - I hope that time will pass so fast and you will be so busy that it won't be too painful a wait!

  4. I didn't know you were a Lost addict, too! Or maybe I did and I forgot--that happens a lot these days. Ty and I watch faithfully, and I'm so glad I have someone as smart as him to watch with--he explains all the stuff I miss and reminds me of clues and connections and stuff.

I'm so sorry you're going to miss it! I have to go to Steve's cousin's graduation that night, but I'll tape it and watch it while I pack to go to Portland the next day.

Think of it this way: the weeks you have to wait while you're away will be nothing compared to the months we have to wait till it starts again next fall (or will they be waiting till winter again?)--and you know they're going to leave us with more questions than answers at the end of the season finale! (Why do we do this to ourselves?!?!)

  5. I enjoyed last weeks episode too. Sorry you have to wait 6 weeks to watch the finale, but like others have said, it will mean you have that much less time to wait for the season premiere in the fall.
